You & Me

Hello hello, Happy Wednesday!

Today I am going to present a new layout that I just did yesterday, for the Let's Get Sketchy April Week 3 Challenge. I love this week's sketch, and I think it is a great sketch if you want to showcase a pretty patterned paper. That was what I thought I was going to do, but after choosing the photo for the layout, I decided to use a dark plain cardstock instead.

♥ Pretty Photo Overlay

The photo was taken by me, and I am loving the couple tees that my brother and SIL were wearing in that photo, super cute!

This is another layout that would fit into the minimalist style in my book, but even so, it took me 2 hours to get it done!! I can't seem to decide which patterned papers to use (I have chosen at least 7 for this layout *shrug*), then I did not know what title I should use on this layout (but I pulled out half a dozen letter stickers, again *rolled eyes*).

At the end, I only used 3 patterned papers and some simple embellishments for this layout. Not really impressed when I get it done yesterday, because I got angry with myself for being indecisive and grumpy because I am actually quite tired from work. I gave up on giving it a title too, LOL. That was when I decided to let the layout 'sit' for a day and come back to it later.

This afternoon while I was daydreaming during working hour, I thought of my one and only Heidi Swapp Mustard Color Shine, and voila, a simple but great idea arises! I came back home from work and took the mist out, sprinkling it diagonally from one corner to the other. Gotta say it definitely look better with the mist.

Off topic
This week has been moving slowly for me, and I can't wait for the weekend to arrive! I really do need to spend more time crafting instead of browsing all the awesome layouts made by others on their blog, Instagram or Pinterest!
