Happy Birthday to..

Well, I rarely joined anymore Card Challenges these days but Simon Says Stamp is a place I visit regularly, and when I saw their birthday theme challenge this week, I just knew I couldn't miss it! Who doesn't love birthday? And making birthday card is my absolute favorite! And those attractive prizes they're offering, just awesome! Even though I just placed my order last week (they're on their way *wooohooo*), I think nobody in their sane mind will say no to another chance to shop, right?

So below is my entry for this challenge

I found this Card Sketch in one of my old Sketch Book.
The Party Hat Happy Birthday brad is CUTE!

Patterned Papers:
Grid Dots and Music Sheet design from Echo Park Note to Self 6 x 6 Paper Pad
Yardsticks and Chevron design from Echo Park This & That Charming 6 x 6 Paper Pad
Clear Stamp:
Penny Black Bubbly
Ink:
Graphite Black from Archival
Others:
Card stock base
Heart-shaped and Circle-shaped Punches
Designed brad and mini brad

I just DON'T color my stamp images, I don't know why. Probably laziness, ha! This is a rather simple card and I finished it within an hour.

And now, I'm off to create more projects. Or a nap.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Favorite Craft Projects of First Quarter of 2013

I've only completed a few craft projects for the first quarter, but I have a few favorites that I would like to share. I didn't really craft much from beginning of February to almost end of March, but my crafting engine is now up and running so hopefully I'll have more favorites to share by the end of this month. Blogging was not in my monthly to do list but I've included it in my revised version of Resolution Review, so hopefully I will stick with it (4 posts/month!!). =)

I guess the reason I don't blog that much is because I have no idea what to say. Even this short post took me almost an hour to finish! So now every week I have to set aside an hour for my blog and hopefully I will have more to say in the coming post. =)
